Pumas Disruptive

Using the Mexican tradition of "Día de los muertos" as inspiration, Nike, launched a special edition jersey to pay tribute to their past late legends.

Celebrating the iconic Mexican tradition, this campaign for the Pumas Jersey was inspired in the strong cultural assets of the "Día de los muertos" to pay respect to the great players that leave a mark in the history of the institution.

Visual Lenguaje.

Using three main components, illustration, animation, and photography, we developed a language focused on respecting the original colors of the campaign but at the same time transmitting the essence of the Mexican festivity using touches of color and traditional elements as the cempasúchil flower (marigold), designed textures inspired in catrinas. Also, animations that revive the late legends with the actual players.
